page location problem

hi guys,

how do I retrive the actual location of a page, I want to do s script that
will open a window prefixing the document path to a local folder.

document.location.href
will give you full path of the current page.

there is no build -in method to get path only w/o the file name, so
you'll have to clean it up manually.

Will you please learn how to quote properly?
document.location.href
will give you full path of the current page.


document.location is obsolete long since, (window.)location is to be used
instead. One can save one lookup by accessing `location' instead of
`location.href'.
