Request.ServerVariables["HTTP_REFERER"].ToString(); issue

Hi,

Request.ServerVariables["HTTP_REFERER"].ToString(); is not
working for all browsers.In netscape it isreturning the current url
rather than current url.Is there any alternative method to get the
previous url in dotnet.

Thanks,

Of course it does not. User agents are not required to send
that HTTP header.
In netscape
Which of the numerous Netscape versions are you referring to?
it isreturning the current url rather than current url.
Pardon?
Is there any alternative method to get the previous url in dotnet.

Unless you transfer it explicitly to the server: no.
And it is not at all a .NET issue.
