Hi

I want to check in a form that an entered value for phone contain 10 number

I use this kind of JS to control that a value is not empty...

if (document.form_protexxio.tel.value=="")
{
alert("Thanks to enter you phone number.");
document.form_protexxio.tel.focus();
return false;
}

.... but now, i want to be sure that the value entered contain 10 number, not
9, not 11 but 10. It can be entered "01 42 93 05 91" or "0142930591" or
"01-42-93-05-91" or else, it don"t matter but 10 numerber ::

Hi

This test only if the lenght is 10, but me, I want to test if there are 10
number... the value can be 14 lenght...

ex :
0142930591
01 42 93 05 91
01.42.93.05.91
01-42-93-05-91
etc...

I want to be sure that ther are 10 number entered !!!

Did you bother to test it? If you did, you would discover that the code does
exactly that!

I have three telephone forms... (home, office and cellular...) and I want to
check those three but only one of these has to be filled....

you could show us the code you have in mind and tested so far,

Using \D+ might be insignificantly faster.
