Scrolling the webpage while the cursor is in the applet?

I'd love to get rid of the following nasty problem:
Once you've 'entered' an applet by clicking on the applet, you can no longer scroll the webpage untill you 'exit' the applet again by clicking somewhere on the webpage itself.

What I would like to find, is a solution that even while the applet is 'entered', you can still scoll the page with your mouse.

Why would I want this? I have an applet which is very long.
I'll give the link here: link.

A Javascript solution could also help, but I want it to work on both IE and FF (and I know that FF handles the onScroll command differently :( ).

The onscroll problem was fixed in FF1.5 (link).
