Internal color of a radio button

P: n/a
Not sure if this is the best place to post this, but can I set the
internal color of a radio button? Basically the background color
inside the circle.

TIA!

CSS background property. Browser support is variable (but generally weak).

The background color I get is the color BEHIND the radio button, and
not in it.

radioButton.style.color

radioButton.style.backgroundColor
