javascript to add bookmark

Hi,

I wanted to write a script that'd add the current URL to the user's
list of bookmarks (Favorites). I found the following script which works
for IE:
document.write (''
+'<a onMouseOver="self.status=\'Bookmark this site\'" '
+' onMouseOut="self.status=\'\'" '
+' href="javascript:window.external.AddFavorite'
+'(\'http://www.JavaScripter.net/faq/\','
+'\'JavaScripter.net FAQ\')">'
+'Click here to bookmark this site</a>.')

Needless to say, it doesn't work for Firefox/Mozilla. Is anyone aware
of a work-around for other browsers?

thanks
Nagender

<p>Why not bookmark this site?</p>

If they can't figure out how to do that, what makes you think they'll be able to
figure out how to use bookmarks?
