Help: Code not working in IE

this little ajax demo app here:

No complaint with FF - works as I intended.
But IE is not getting it.

e.g.
1) Last inserted element not getting fade effect but ALWAYS the first one.
2) Link on bottom does not delay appearance as I want.

The page you link to has 8 script files and 2 CSS files as well as the
in-page scripting. Expecting someone to trawl through all that to find
the problem is probably asking too much.

On top of that, you have deeply nested tables.

Make an absolute minimal example that shows the behaviour and post that.
It probably has something to do with how you are applying styles to
elements, you should be able to replicate it using createElement or
similar rather than AJAX.

If it is a CSS issue, then your best bet is:
