get cssText values in mozilla for properties not understood by browser

Is there any way to get the value of cssText in the various Gecko
browsers when the properties are not themselves understood by the
browser. I'm supposing the answer is no but wanted to check.

willing to use either getComputedStyle or to get the property using
cssRules. Would prefer to get it using cssRules.
