Run keyboard keys

Hi.

Is it possible to use Javascript to simulate a keyboard key? For
example, when the user clicks an image a piece of code runs the F1 key,
or a combination of keys like SHIFT+F2.

JS can only use keyCode of
- alphanumeric keys
- arrows keys
- space, return (& enter), page ud & down, keys
it can also (easyless) detect control and alt

but mouse clicks or F keys are unknown
