Internet Explorer : readCookie into form object not working ?

Hi,

This not work : document.myform.myobj.value=getCookie('mycookie');

But this work : alert(getCookie('mycookie'));

Is this bug in Internet Explorer ? any suggestion ?

No, standard js, all functions are at the 'window' level, or global and
thus they can be accessed from any children, so getCookie() is called and
processes as it's the same as window.getCookie(). Same will apply to a
global object, for a global var duck='poultry'; alert(duck) will give
poultry from any event handler on any element, as var duck is global and
available to all children.
