On Windows MSIE is automatable with script much like other applications
like Word or Excel are so script can create and open IE browser windows,
load URLs and then has access to the object model of the document
loaded. It is not script run in the browser that can do that but a
Windows Script Host script. The script language can be JScript so you do
not need to learn a new language but of course you need to learn how to
automate an application, you need to learn the API that IE exposes to
load a URL and so on.
