Javascript Message

Not sure if this is the right place to ask this but...
I am in Microsoft Updates. When I click "Details" of the update I get this
message on the bottom of my screen:
javascript:parent.fnDisplayDetails("14");

Can anyone please tell me if this problem is with my setup or Microsoft.

The problem is a shitty javascript on microsoft's site...most microsoft
stuff tends to be shitty like that ;-) what browser are you using?
Try using a different brower. Firefox is best normally, but the site
has probably been tested on IE since it's microsoft. If that doesn't
fix the problem, then see if there is a way you can email them on the
site. Maybe theyll read it. Or maybe not...
Or maybe you could try disabling a Javascript in your browser. If
theyre site is coded well, they will put all of the same functionality
inside the <noscript>'s. But its microsoft, so you cant expect it to
be coded well.

Do you mean Windows Update (windowsupdate.microsoft.com)?
Please provide the exact URI.
When I click "Details" of the update I get

Provided that you have your graphical browser maximized, it is probably
the URI of the link in the status bar that is displayed, in which case
everything would work as designed. The link would be using a proprietary
`javascript:' URI to call a method when you clicked the link; details
would be displayed then, provided it was not a DOM incompatibility issue.
What browser are you using to access the site?
Can anyone please tell me if this problem is with my setup or Microsoft.

You have not stated what the actual *problem* is. I cannot see any.
