How to make xhtm validate javascript ?

Hi

Do you know of some good links to tutorials explaining how to make
javascript validate in xhtml?

Specifically I am having trouble trying to validate this

$tdsubclass="<td class=\"sup\"><a
href=\"http:///andersen/bygtabel.php/$artnr[$arayartnrcounter]\"
onMouseOver=\"window.status =
'http://www.wski.dk/$artnr[$arayartnrcounter]';
return true;\"
onMouseOut=\"window.status =\"; return true;\"><!--target=\"_Self\"-->
";

You validate it by including the .js file, not using a <script> for
validation purposes.
