I'm looking for javascript IDE with code completition and preferably
script debuging. Cross platform (Windows, Linux) would be a plus.
Could you suggest something?
MyEclipse for Eclipse 3.x has code completion for the most used properties,
syntax highlighting and provides a navigational outline of a script file.
Apart of code completion this applies for the JSEditor plugin for Eclipse
and Eclipse Colorer as well. Note that JSEditor's outline view is more
sophisticated as MyEclipse's and Colorer's since it also recognizes
prototypes.
General script debugging in an IDE would not be viable since J(ava)Script
scripts are executed in different host environments and almost all JS
scripts make use of a certain environment. So if you look for JS
debuggers, read the FAQ.
