Div as a window to another div

abs
I wonder if it is possible to create a block which wuold be a 'window' to
another block. I mean I create div and define what part of another div I
want it to display... Is it possible ?

Sounds like a job for overflow: hidden and some positioning.

Somethng like this? www.somestuff.batcave.net/

I have multiple divisions being turned on and off within another division as
needed.

You can also do that with position:absolute and z-index. But that gets
rather tricky.
