Wellllll.....My idea is slowly taking shape

http://www.geocities.com/r_bullis/index.htm
Needs a lot of tweaking and pruning yet, but maybe I'll eventually get my
idea to form in the way I want it to.

Both scripts were captured from dynamicdrive.com and seemingly work well
together.

Eventually, I plan on showing thumbnails in the center column, then the
larger full image in the right column.

You are totally incapable of doing anything for yourself, aren't you?

Not sure how you think you can claim to be valid HTML when the very
validator it links to says it isn't.

A geocities page will never truly validate due to the banner advertising
crap.
If you'll visit the site again, you'll see I've cleaned up the errors so
that the only errors come from the stuff added by geocities.
There is nothing I can do about that.

If you'll notice, there are only two line numbers generating those 21
errors.
I did not write those lines.

That is beside the point. Adjust the lines that you do write to accomodate
for the inserted code. They close non-existing elements, you can simply
end your part of the code with the corresponding opening tags :-). Only for
the proper placement of the </body> and </html> end tags I do not see a
quick solution.
An even better approach to this whole thing would be to move away from
geocities. There are plenty of equally free hosts who do not hijack your
pages like they do.
