Javascript window.open

Eager-Learner

Thru window.open I can open a word document but I'm NOT ABLE TO
restrict copy, paste and file save as option. So I tried
window.showModalDialog, but thru this I can open only html or text.
My concern is I want to open MS-WORD or EXCEL document only to view
and the user should NOT make any changes or save it. Can anyone help
me
out ? Thanks in adance for your effort

I believe there is an option in Word to restrict those things (make it read-
only).
Restrict them, then save it and put it on the web.
