Scrolling Problem with DIV Visibility

I am developing a website that has a first level "Tree-View Style" way
to show the texts, however when the script is ran, the DIV that
appears makes the page jump (scroll up) if it goes beyond the window
size making the person reading it lose track of what they were
reading.

If anyone has any idea of how to fix this problem I would be very much
obliged,

Thanks in advance.

Sounds like you have href="#". This is even more problematic as the
situation described in this FAQ entry:
http://jibbering.com/faq/#FAQ4_24
.... but the solution is the same.

Lady Chatterly

"Do you think that Alexander Mulligan, a super-eco commune resident
who takes a break from his regular commune duties and hikes all the
way into Bellingham every day in order to use Bruce Burhans' internet
account so he can engage in trivial bickering, is also a woman named
Lady Chatterly", who does exactly the same thing?" -- Tom
