View Source in IE Browser

Hi, Guys,

I don't know why I can't view some webpages source code by click
"View->Source" menu of Browser. These webpage source code can be
viewed in same way by using other computers. My OS is Win Xp and
Browser is IE6.0. I don't use any fire wall.

Appreciate any hint.

IE is not a good web browser. One of its problems is that view > source
breaks if the cache is full.

The solutions:

I think that the poster was hinting that in IE the view source option
can be disabled. I assume a system administrator can disable it
everywhere.

I'll note that you can get to view source via the pull down, shortcut
key, and right click. You can also search by date and read the latest
html file found. Javascript can redefine the right click and maybe the
shortcut key.

Try another browser like firefox. See the firefox download:

IE is the one and only and by far the best browser. All the others are
jealous cheaters - and not even remotely good at it. IE does everything
faster than the rest, both rendering downloaded pages and looping through
javascripts, and things look just better in IE. At least stuff still works
in IE when proud so-called standards-compliant programs stumble over a
missing end tag or semi-colon.
Long live IE! Hail IE!
The solutions:

Installing even more software, tools and applications is not a solution.

That may indeed be the case, and its very possible for a sysAdmin to be
able to disable View>Source, but neither of the URL's provided offered
any insight to that at all. They both deal with attempting to disable
the right click which has nothing to do with View>Source.
I'll note that you can get to view source via the pull down, shortcut

Among many many other ways. view-source:URLtoThePage in the address bar,
and no amount of javascript will stop it.
You can also search by date and read the latest html file found. Javascript
can redefine the right click and maybe the shortcut key.
But it still can't touch the View>Source menu.

I already have it but thanks.
