Span loading?

Hi.

I have a table with some spans in it. Every span contains a different
clock. When each span finishes load, I need to run a javascript
function to start the clock, but I could not find anything like an
onload event for spans. Is it possible? Or is there another way to
start all the clocks without to click a button?

Thanks,
Robert Scheer

What clocks? images, something else?

If you look at the source of Google's home page:
<input maxLength=256 size=55 name=q value="">
<script>
document.f.q.focus();
</script>
you can see that the input element is given focus before the end form tag!
They can do this because a) it doesn't really matter, b) the moment the last
character of the input tag has been read, the input tag is available for
scripting.
