browsers that reload on resize?

I have some old code that i'm revamping. In it i have code to put a unique
number in the querystring so the server knows whether its a page request or
a netscape (v 4 at the time) resize.

Now nobody uses Netscape anymore, right? So do i still need to cater for
this feature (bug?!). I can install and test all the browsers i can think
of but if anyone can say a definite answer it will be a great help.

Thanks

So far so good.

If anyone can give a "definitive answer" for web browser usage, then
they will have more knowledge than the combined efforts of most people
on the web.

Check your logs to see.

Obviously if i want to cater for people on old Netscape i'd still have to
keep this code.

But yes, Ok my choice of words could be better.... what i'm asking is:

Does anyone know of a commonly used Browser, lets say V5 or higher, that
suffers from the same resize/reload issue that affected Netscape 4.7?

Some people still use it. Anyway AFAIK the reloading of NS4 on resize is
triggered by a javascript that is inserted by editors because that browser
forgets about CSS when the window is resized; so the page is reloaded to get
the CSS again. You could just remove that script (usually called something
like Netscape Resize Fix). So you can choose what you prefer on resize:
reloading or loss of your design.
