First, I see no point why this should not be possible.
Second, you may want to have a look at the functions replaceChild(), appendChild(), removeChild() and the property [element].style.visibili ty as well as an event handler tutorial.
Third, what would be the learning effect of only posting some code without your participation?

http://www.intraproducts.com/beta/infinicall/index.asp has a drop down menu on Investor Relations. The markup and CSS are both valid, and most of the time, the menu drops down correctly. However, sometimes, mousing over the words does not make the menu drop down, or the drop down disappears. Can anyone spot anything in the markup or CSS that is causing this behavior? Thanks in advance.

I am accumulating over 80 pages per day into an archive that I will need to be able to present sequentially to viewers. Using html to viewing a page, then click on back to return to my archive index is so awkward it is not useful for my presentations. Can javascript be used to create a powerpoint like presentation of html files (with gif hyperlinks)sequentially from html page to page? Is so, could someone suggest where I could find a...

I have an ASP.NET web page -- several auto-post back DropDownLists that perform a query against a relatively large database (3 to 4 seconds delay) that repopulate a couple of datagrids, comboboxes and a chart (using dotnetCharting control) on the same page. This works just fine on its own. However, when I integrated the page into the rest of the site, it is then placed inside a frameset. Again, the page seems to work fine EXCEPT under the...

In our web application(ASP.Net), we have database driven menus that are of dropdown style on getting focus (a requirement). We've used Javascript Menu Object for creating these menus. On different pages of the application, we are using ASP.Net some DropDownLists. Now the problem is that when any menu drops, these dropdownlists disappear as long as the menu is dropped and reappear when the menu is folded back. We are unable to find any...

When you click on any of the menu the UI changes. For instance clicking on the first menu shows a bunch of textboxes allowing the user to enter some information and click a button. The next menu will let user choose a file from a dropdown menu and...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
