Error: Object Expected

Despite contacting various Support people I cannot download a family tree from Genes Reunited.

URL: http://www.genesreunited.co.uk/tree.asp?wci=tree
Line:34

Their only ideas were to do with security, but is this really the case?

This is not related to Java so I'll move it here.

Hi

My husband is also getting this problem with no response from Genesreunited. I'm running IE 6.0 and this error started around the same time as loading the full CA av/etc (so he thinks its my fault!)

I've check this using Firefox and Line 34 appears to be:

Warning: Error in parsing value for property 'width'. Declaration dropped.
Source File: http://www.genesreunited.co.uk/STYLE...N/template.css
Line: 34

There are 4 errors in the error console all the same, and a heap of warnings - primarily css related, but no warning about Line 1 (see below).

Error: uncaught exception: Permission denied to call method Location.toStri ng

When I run it in Firefox I get it dropping out at Line 1 -
Error loading script
URL: http://secure-uk.imrworldwide.com/v5.js
Line 1

I think imr is Netratings code (I think its on our website) but its right at the end - not line 1

Obviously I'm not highly technical but it would be reassuring to know that its a problem at genesreunited rather than an AV issue :-)

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

Welcome to TSDN!

CSS-related warnings won't be the problem (though they should ty to get rid of those too).

Check the page source to find line 34.

It seems to be an IE 6.0 problem (I haven't checked it in 7.0). When we open it in Mozilla its fine. My husband is 'coping' with Mozilla and now that the program works there he is happy.

Thanks for the offer of help - I may still take you up on it if Mozilla lets me down - its not Microsoft or adobe so I might be ok ;-)

Regards

Sally

Whatever the case is, it's their job to fix it. I can only advise as to what the problem might be. Anyway, glad it's working in Firefox.

I ran into a problem using g++. Visual Studio 2005 never complained about this, but with g++ I ran into this error. I can't figure out if I've done something wrong or if this is a compiler bug. Here's a very simple example which should illustrate what I'm doing. #include <iostream> template <class T> class TestBase {

I'm getting an error that I can't seem to resolve. When I compile the Functor related logic in a test program, the files compile and execute properly (see Listing #1). However, when I incorporate the same logic within my simulation, the class that implements the functor logic has problems compiling. I get the following errors: -- Building myTest.cpp --

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
