I think for every browser the cookie is same and it's related JavaScript functions or format.
If anything making you confused then post your code here.

Kind regards,

Ok!
I think you are confusing with Web-Technology Still.
Look, the browsers never share there internal settings with each other.
They keep their own copy.
Never let it to be public.
And what you sense says?

Kind regards,

I'm not sure if it's possible, but why would you want it anyway? A user is unlikely to visit your website using two different browsers.

Thanks dmjpro,acoder
well i am working on behavioral targeting
and if the user comes across a website using different browsers at different times, then the value stored in cookie should be read and updated and if it is not possible in cross browsers then the user will have more than one user id, one for browser a and another for browser b and so on

if cross browser cookie can be implemented, i can track users across different browsers so thats why i was asking for this

Hello, In our new intranet ASP.NET project, two requirements are that the browser accept cookies AND JavaScript. We are requiring the use of Internet Explorer 6+. 1. I've been developing a little web page full of JavaScript while using Firefox and it works well but when I try to view it in Opera and IE, it's incomplete. I suspect cross-browser issues in the DOM but how do you *find* them; neither Opera nor IE seem to have a JavaScript console as Firefox does. Am I missing something?

I'm guessing this is a laughably obvious answer to many here, but it's not to me (and I don't have a server or any knowledge of PHP to be able to try it). It's not strictly a PHP question, but something that PHP guys would know the answer to. I can't think of a more appropriate forum to try. I've heard the ASP and JSP guys aren't as friendly...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
