How to Disable the Right-Click in an Embedded Real & Quick Time players

1 New Member
Hi,

I have included an embedded Real Player and an embedded Quick Time
Player for streaming videos, in my web pages.

I'm interested in searching for a method or a script to disable the
right-click option in the embedded Real & Quick Time players, because
I don't want the viewers to download the video but to view it while
streaming.

I will be very much grateful to you if you could kindly help me in
finding a method or a script to disable the right-click in embedded
Real & Quick Time Players.

The embedding code -

I think this can be done by adding a new parameter I'm testing on it,
hope I'll get a good response with an answer from you!

Thank you.

Hi Dilshan. Welcome to The Scripts!

I'm going to move your question from the PHP forums to the HTML forums, where it is more likely to get answered.

hi ...

you may do that with javascript but it is one of the most annoying things you may do on a webpage, because you override the standards behaviour of the mouse ... it is against all simple usability rules ... so please don't do that. however in case you want to do it anyway ... you have to capture the event and ask for its detail ... a google search with 'disable right click javascript' will give you a lot of copy and paste scripts to achieve your goal ...

kind regards

Hi. I have the following problem: Using popen() to execute a program and read its stdout works usually fine. Now I try to do this with a program called xsupplicant (maybe one knows), but I dont get the output of it while it is running. This is probably a problem of stdout being buffered, because if I use fflush() after a printf() in the...

I wouild like to disable the Close Button, or...

Hello! When I use putchar to fill up an entire screen (of 80x25) with text, it seems to leave an empty line at the end, thus forcing me to scroll upwards in to see the first line. This forces me to repositioning the cursor to the first line, which costs computer power. I know the loss is negligible, but it's more a matter of principle: how...

hi, I've finished all the base code to my App. Tested it and everything, now I need to make a UI. Its not going to be overly complex but it could get complex later on, so I want to design it well. I want a proper way to enable/disable UI but later being able to change maybe the real control, so far i've come up with.
