I've trying to get the progress bar available here http://www.raditha.com/megaupload/ to work. Since I've no idea on Perl and looking at the CGI, some things are quite strange to me, I'm trying to integrate it on my PHP pages. Ideally, I'd like to select the files to upload in a PHP form, then on submit show the progress bar and then be redirected to any PHP file. I don't want to use javascript and show an other form. I absolutely...

Hi, I check data validity in html form by JS. Something like for (i=0; i<document.form.elements.length; i++) { chechkValidity(i); } Unfortunately, the form has about two thousands elements (it is statistical questioning form for companies) and execution of this one cycle takes about twenty seconds.

I would like to display a progress bar (or some progress indication) when the user hits a submit button until the request is completed and is loaded.... Something that works like Flash, when you click a button and it shows a indicator of the page load progress. Is this doable without using any java or active x controls - maybe in javascript or something. Thanks. Emad

Hi, I have a page that uploads files to my server and I wish to display a "Please wait while uploading" page to the user while the file is uploading. I have been able to redirect the user once the file is finished uploading but am not sure how to do it while file is uploading. Some sample code would be welcomed with open arms. Thank You.

Ok, I know how to upload a file in asp.net using the <input type="file" runat="server"> control. What I don't know how to do is monitor the progress of the upload so that I can show the end-user a progress bar, or something. Anyone have any ideals or can point me to a sample? Thanks,

Hi all, I am running a VS 2003 .NET project on my client machine (Win 2000 SP4, ..NET framework 1.1), running an ASP.NET application on a remote web server (Win 2000 Server, IIS 6.0, .NET framework 1.1). The application implements a Progress Bar webcontrol, that pops up in a window, using the HttpHandler interface, on the event of a button click. The handler's process request routine reads the status of the progress by querying the...

Hi! I am creating a composite control the does some of it`s own data access. I want to display a progress bar between the time the page is loaded and the control place holder is displayed and final display of the data from the database. I was thinking of manually opening a second thread in the Render method, but nothing is displayed before the render method exits anyway. Anyone know of a good way to do this? I have been working on this...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
