No, you can't hide anything client-side. Even if it's not in the URL, someone could just view the source.

hi ...

on clientside you can't do this ... like acoder said. and as a recommendation: never do auth-things on clientside ... always call a service or whatever you want to call it on the server side ... the client always gets your javascript-code and it may be always locally modified by the user ... so avoid everything that may be security-critical like building sql-queries, pass usernames and passwords etc. ...

try to find an other solution for this ... never, never do it ;) its evil ... and you may wonder what the guys may do with such code ... probably its your mysql-password too or whatever ... don't rely on the fact that most users don't be able to use what they get ;) ... if some could ... you may be send to hell by them ...

of course i'm exaggerating ... but i have to mention it ... and bring it to your attention ...

kind regards ...

I have finally managed to get Apache 2.2.4, PHP 5.2.0 and MySQL to talk to each other. Everything seems to work OK when dealing with databases but as soon as I use a php-script that use $_server the browser will throw me away and give me HTTP 403. It has worked before but that was before I got the communication to work with MySQL Any...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...

These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention.
