Using Javascript to Manage Admins in the Adminstrators group

1 New Member
I've been able to track down several scripts for doing what I want in VB but I cannot find anything in javascript. The gist of what I'm trying to do is just remove a user from the administrators group.
The closest script I've found is VB which does it like this:
Set objGroup = GetObject("WinN T://" & strComputer & "/Administrators" )

For Each objUser In objGroup.Member s
If objUser.Name <> "Administra tor" AND objUser.Name <> "Domain Admins" Then
Wscript.Echo objUser.Name
End If
Next

If someone could help me convert this to javascript, I should be golden!

Folks, I can program fairly comfortably in PHP and can, for the most part using these skills and others that I've picked up over the years manage to read/understand most code in Javascript... so I'm just asking for a few pointers (or the full solution if you have the time) for what I want to do. Basically, I want to write a javascript wherby I only need to pass it the names of form fields - then my javascript will check each form field...

In my secure database, I have the admins group and a DeptUser group. I am trying to set up a new user in the admins group and the DeptUser group. However, this new administrator receives the error 3033: You do not have the necessary permissions to use the 'qryViewLD' object. I am a member of admins and I do not get this message. I'm stumped. The admins group has all permissions on the query. The DeptUser group can read the design...

Hello, I'm trying to create an admin page that can run miscellaneous scripts for our IT department. Currently, I'm trying to create a script that can map a network drive for a user (e.g. a form where I can input \\path\folder, drive letter, and domain\user). Is this possible? If so, can someone point me in the right direction? Thank you, Brian Nicholson

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
