Proxy in Java Scripting

Hi guys,
I wonder is there any way to post link on my page which can be
transmitted via a proxy? Meaning that the other side cannot block it?
Thanks!

"the other side" blocking method could be in many ways, it doesn't
have to be by mask or IP, and is at the jurisdiction of the server,
as it properly should be, and no, you cannot use proxies in links or
proxy it on a server request, and even if you could, another blocking
way is easily workable on the server.

Anyone knows how to build (or a tutorial online) to build a small proxy server by myself. I need only to point it from a browser and print in a mxgbox the URL requested and loaded. Thank you. Giulia

I've been researching this on and off for weeks, and haven't come up with anything useful yet. If anyone knows how to do this, please let me know. From a Java applet running in IE 6.0 using the Sun J2SE 1.4.2_03 plug-in, I need to retrieve the proxy host and port that will be used to access a specific URL. The site with the client machines is using automated proxy settings (i.e., a ".pac" file) to retrieve the proxy server address and...

Hi all, I would need a script that shall change the internet setting 'proxy override' adding the ip address of a new intranet server, namely 172.16.31.1, this without deleting any other proxy override settings that may already exist, and of course adding the new one only if not already there. This just to avoid having to go around to each computer to manually apply the change.

Hi, I have a set of simple webservices calls that worked fine using .NET Framework 1.0. I am calling a Java/Apache based webservices, the calling side is not able to supply a proper WSDL. What it does is to call a webservice with two parameters, one being a integer, the other one being a "String" which contains XML (not the best practice, however that is the target interface and we cannot change that).

Hi, I am trying to create a proxy class that will allow me to consume a third-party web service that is running on apache / Oracle, written in Java (OC4J). Unfortunately Visual Studio 2005, and indeed wsdl.exe, cannot undertand the WSDL document and cannot therefore generate a proxy class. this leaves me stuck.

C++ers, I have programmed in C++ since 1991 and I probably created my best abstraction layers in C++ in those days. Since 2001 I've been programming in Java (at first against my will, then I realized the market was moving into Java) and I'm trying to reimplement in Java what I did back in those days. The problem I have is that I have a job offer for programming in C++, again!!!, and I don't know if I should take it. My problem is...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
