I'm just learning how to use TIME, with some success I'd say.. I'm trying to figure out how to pause the timeline of an entire document. The HTML + Time introduction document has a quote: "You can pause and resume the document timeline using methods from the object model", but I haven't had any luck finding the methods required. I have a .wmv file playing on the right, and on the left are a series of items that appear/disappear in...

If I want to added a script to some HTML to make conditional output, do I just surround the HTML with the Script and do Document.writes(<TD>aVariable</td>) if I want to use if statements to set the variable? Our in-house HTML specialist is very confusing, and went off in many tangents when I asked him this. He said something like do the HTML first, then put the script at the bottom, but for the life of me, I can't see how this would work...

Hi all: Please excuse a newbie question but I could use some assistance. I have a large number of "help pages" for an application which we provide. Within those pages are sections of code that I want to conditionally comment out. These sections include HTML and Javascript elements. A sample: <p>For more information <script language="javascript">advancedHelp(" <strong>Click Here</strong>","13.htm");</scriptto launch the help page.

Hello, I am fairly new to web and am making a page I am happy with, however I am wonding if my method is flawed. Currently what I do is load everything into a monster sized sting in my php script like: function printContent(){ $string = "\n<div id='" . $someID . "\n'>" . $content . "\n</div>\n"; $string .= "more stuff here..."; echo $string; }

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
