[LAME] Adobe form JS

Well I have very very simple problem.
I have three NumericFields prepeared id Adobe Designer.
I would like to add values from thirs two fields and show sum in the third
one.

So I'm choosing NumericField3 -> From event list I'm choosing calculate.
I'm adding code.
NumericField3.v alue = NumericField2.v alue + NumericField1.v alue;

and... nothing happens.
but if I enter a code
NumericField3.v alue="2" it works showing digit "2"

What am I doing wrong here?

Thanks for any help

You are asking for help with Adobe Designer in a Javascript Newsgroup.

I totally understand. And maybe you can get lucky and someone here have
some experience trying to script Adobe. My reply was based on memory of
a thread not long ago where Adobe was being scripted and nobody
could/would answer.

What you could try is putting some alerts (if AD Supports them) that
could serve as break points:

alert(NumericFi eld1.value)
alert(NumericFi eld2.value)
alert(NumericFi eld1.value + NumericField2.v alue)

And see if AD will give the alerts.

NumericField3.v alue = NumericField2.v alue + NumericField1.v alue;

I have never used AD so its just a guess.
