"Error Nuker" - If you "nuke" the error, then how are you ever going
to find the problem?

According to the Google Groups archives, the same message was multi-posted
to comp.security.f irewalls, comp.sys.ibm.pc .games.action,
comp.lang.java. help, comp.unix.solar is, and comp.mail.eudor a.ms-windows at
approximately the same time:

<URL:http://groups.google.d e/groups?q=http%3 A%2F%2Fmeridiat ai.errornuker.h op.clickbank.ne t%2F&start=0&sc oring=d&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&filter=0&>

Avoid replying to spam: that only allows the spammer to harvest information
from your message.

In case you have problems ignoring spam, add the spammer to your killfile.

If you want to fight spam, which is honorable, notify the service provider
of the spammer about it, in this case

| X-Complaints-To: us****@HiNetnew s.hinet.net

(Use "show options", then "Show original" in Google Groups; if there is no
X-Complaints-To header, complain to abuse@domain_of _the_service_pr ovider
[whois on the first domain Path component or on NNTP-Posting-Host helps to
find out]; some service providers also provide an abuse notification form
on their Web sites.)

In case of spam, under certain circumstances it is also approved behavior
for you to issue a third person cancel:

<URL:http://www.killfile.or g/faqs/cancel.html>

AIUI, the BI of this spam is but sqrt(6) < 20, so it can/should not be
subject to a third person cancel now.

When it rains, it pours. I have an installer I built within VS, and when you click install within the IDE, it unistalls the previous version for you, very conventient, but it means that alot happens that I don't know or understand. Today I got an error when it tried to un/install my package, saying it was missing my install DLL. Now, TBH, I really fumbled my way through the whole installation building process. It seems that deploying...

Does this have all of the features of xp pro such as IIS, and other things required by asp.net developers or am I going to have to Install Windows XP Pro? Is there any list of what xp pro has that media center does not? Is media center based on xp pro or xp home? Thanks,

Hello all, I did a bit of searching and couldn't find an answer. What I want to do is programmatically detect if the virus software is enabled or disabled, just like how the Windows Security Center is able to detect it. I'm guessing it's a registry entry, but i'm curious if it's vendor specific. If so, is there a general area in the registry I can scan and at least search for popular vendor names?

Hello, publib.boulder.ibm.com has been rather unstable lately, so I figured I should install a local copy of the documentation web pages. I grabbed the Windows-version of the offline version of "DB2 9 Documentation" from https://www14.software.ibm.com/webapp/iwm/web/preLogin.do?lang=en_US&source=swg-dm-db2doce After having downloaded ½ a gigabyte of data, it turns out that the

After editing the registry, Windows would log me off right after it started up. I found some information about fixing this problem (eg http://www.geekstogo.com/forum/Windows-XP-Logs-Then-Immediately-Logs-Off-t15771.html). However, after recruiting someone else's help, once Recovery Console was started the selected to Repair Windows. That was going fine, but while "Installing Windows" it hit a point with 34 minutes remaining while...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
