jdk1.5 to jdk 1.6

how should i call a jdk 1.6 compiled jar class from a jdk 1.5 compiled application.Currently my application is running on jdk 1.5 but i want to call a function(in a jar) which is jdk 1.6 compiled.How should i accomplish this problem.

if you want jdk1.5 compiled file to run in jdk1.6 then compile the same with jdk1.6 and vice versa bcoz java gives version mismatch error.
