Java logging problem

1
Hi,

I am facing a problem where many empty .log (e.g. xx.log.1, xx.log.2, ...) & .lck files are being generated when using java logging. I did see some comment to say that the problem had been resolved in 1.5, is that true? cos i did try and seems the problem still persists. And also, somebody has advised to create a singleton logger to overcome the problem. Is there any sample code for my reference.

Thank you so much
