Satish,

First off, what are your requirements.....how big an array, etc.

Anyway, the way to test is to create comperable test data and sort the resulting arrays. How big the arrays are, etc., is a function of your testing requirements.

Since you are comparing a sort of Strings against a sort of Integers, the first thing you need to know is how you will make the comparisons.

Once you've put together a skeleton of your test, we can help you with the rest. First off, though, you need to understand how to formulate your test data and run the comparisons.

Building an array of random Integers is simple; but what are the String values? Are they just the string representations of the integers? Are you comparing the Strings as Strings, or as Integers?

Let us know, and we'll help you further.

Luck!
