can anybody tel me how can i resolve this error??

It might be readLine(), not readline(). Why not check here?

As has already been answered: the method name is 'readLine' with a capital ell.
The error diagnostic also told you that: the compiler can't find (resolve) a name
'readline' that you want to call on a BufferedReader. It is all there; why don't you
read it instead of throwing your hands up in the air and have others solve your
problem? I don't consider that the right attitude. Sun's coding convention could've
been a hint too: method names start with a lower case letter and all following
word parts start with an uppercase letter; as in 'readLine' instead of 'readline'.
