Junit without Cactus framewrok

Ours is a J2EE project(JSP, Struts, EJB, Websphere). One of the requirement of our project is to implement Junit without Cactus framework. We have implemented Junit with Cactus framework. Can someone explain how to implement Junit without cactus framework?
