Hello everybody I just want to ask if Singley Linked List and Double Linked List is implemented in the java built in packages?
Here is a good starting point. Pay attention to the list of "All Known Implementing Classes"

I know that the linked list is implemented but it doesn't have the exact same methods as Single or Double Linked List

What I mean is in the java built in there is only Linked List and No Double or Single Linked List (IS that correct??)

Specs for LinkedList say
All of the operations perform as could be expected for a doubly-linked list. Operations that index into the list will traverse the list from the begining or the end, whichever is closer to the specified index.
For the sorting part, have a look at the Collections.sort method
