Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. void EncodeData( Cipher aCipher, String plaintext ) throws InvalidKeyException
  2. {
  3.     // initialize the Cipher in encrypt mode
  4.     aCipher.init( Cipher.ENCRYPT_MODE, secretKey );
  5.
  6.     byte[] outputArray = null;
  7.
  8.     // produce a byte array from the string, using the platform's
  9.     // default character set.
  10.
  11.     outputArray = plaintext.getBytes( );
  12.         System.out.println("Plaintext :" + plaintext );
  13.         System.out.println( "Before = "+outputArray);
  14.
  15.     FileOutputStream outfile = null;
  16.
  17.     try {
  18.         outfile = new FileOutputStream( new File( "soul.txt" ) );
  19.     }
  20.     catch( IOException e )
  21.     { }
  22.
  23.     // Create a CipherOutputStream
  24.     CipherOutputStream out = new CipherOutputStream( outfile, aCipher );
  25.
  26.     try {
  27.         out.write( outputArray );
  28.                 out.flush( );
  29.         out.close( );
  30.                 System.out.println("CipherText: ");
  31.     }
  32.     catch( IOException e )
  33.     {
  34.         e.printStackTrace( );
  35.     }
  36.
  37.     // erase the unencrypted data
  38.     java.util.Arrays.fill( outputArray, (byte)0 );
  39. }
instead of me writing the encrypted plaintext, i want to display the cipher text. i couldn't find the way. things that i try to displayed are not like in the soul.txt.
