Reg: Java for Linux

Sir,
I have installed RedHat Linux 9 as my OS.
Now i hav to install java.
Is jdk for Windows is compatible for linux os.
Or i have to use different install package ???
Please advice

Did you actually *read* the download page? There are separate downloads available
for Windows, Linux and Solaris; all in different flavours.
