follow up question to this topic.

Does anyone know of a peer to peer networking tutorial? I have searched java.sun's website but was unable to find anything of use. I have gone through the knock knock example on their website and got it working (sort of.. works on one computer but not the other.. no matter). I am interested in doing a peer to peer game but I am not sure of the way to go about setting my algorithm up for it.

Do you like Sun Java's "RMI" mechanism? It's quite powerfull (the entire JEE
framework uses it all over the place). It's an OO type of RPC based on Corba
which in turn is based on IIOP. Google for it.

kind regards,

Jos
