How to find out location and type of database in an online java game?

Is there anyway to find out what type (e.g. Mysql, Postgresql etc.) and possibly the remote location (URL) of a database used in an online java game?

I am quite a beginner with Java and tried to check the .class and related decompiled .java files of the Finalconquest-dot-com game client applet with no result .

Cheers,

Fab

Greetings, Fab!

I could be wrong, but it does not sound like you're needing to do this to help the web site whose specific info you're hoping to read... If you work for them, I'd say ask them directly for the code, if not, I suspect you will need permission of entry...
