Creating hidden JRadioButton

Hi,
I have a problem. I am creating an order form in Netbeans 5.5.1 with Java. I need to clear the entire screen when the order is submitted (including the radio buttons' entry. I am told I need to create a hidden rdo within the same buttongroup. How do I actually make this rdo hidden on the form? I'm new to Java, so this question may be elementary. Any help is appreciated.
Thank you.
