how to uploading the image into mysql db

now i am using banking project.so i want to upload an image into mysql data base and j2ee using now. please any one give me the clue to uploade the image.

What do you want to store in Database?

but i know the BLOB data type in mysql.but i have no idea abt how to upload the image from my servelt file.
pls give me some idea on servelt concept.
