Writing a special character to a file

How can I write a special character to a file like an end of line character.

How can I write a special character to a file like an end of line character.
What are you using to write to the file?
Just pass the character to the write method e.g
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. bw.write(System.getProperty("line.separator"))
