Java GUI freezes in Debian/Sarge

Hi,
I am running a Debian/Sarge
#uname -a
Linux jukebox 2.6.14.2 #5 PREEMPT Mon Nov 28 20:28:54 CET 2005 i686 GNU/Linux
I have a java casino game created by jdk (1.6.0_02) netbeans(5..5.1) . If I run it in development machine (windows) it runs okay. It also runs okay in (fedora)
But I got problme when I run it in the Debian. after some clickings and typings it gets frozen. just frozen. I can not work with it. I though I would compile it with netbeans. then I install netbeans. But Netbeans also shows the same behavior. To bo sure, I tried jEdit. The result was same. hang. the GUI.
I am sure its about Debian vs JDK
Can you please help me?

First question would be, if the JRE or JDK on your Dabian system is up to date. Then it would be interesting, if recompiling the game under debian and starting it via the console brings the same error.

If it's up to date and the recompiling doesn't help, it might be a package issue. Does the game hang at the same place every time? Is something new created at this point? I had the experience a while ago, that I had to install some awt-packages to make my program work under Ubuntu (which, as you probably know, Debian based).

Also, what exactly is the error like? Does it give you any kind of error message? Does it throw an Exception? (Probably in the console.)

As it runs on Fedora, you should be able to get it to work under Debian.

Greetings,
Nepomuk

Yes it occures in a specific point for the game. when I open the control panel of the game it loads configuration from config files.then I leave the control panel. but when I again start the control panel. it freezes. the configuration file config.txt is in the same directory with 777 permission.
