In what context did it not work? Normally, the command
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. System.out.println("Hello\nWorld");
  2.
should give you
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. Hello
  2. World
  3.
By the way, if you just want to start an extra line, how about
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. System.out.println();
  2.
(Yes, that's println without any argument.)

Greetings,
Nepomuk
