File & path

Hello,
I want to verify that the path ( used to create a File Object ) is a valid ( Windows platform) path, so it starts whit C:\\ etc...

Welcome to TSDN!
If you do in Java c:/ in any Platform then JVM will do for you.
No need to think over it.
Actually you better to do c:/ rather than c:// in Windows.
Both will work same but you better to do the first one.

Have a look at the File.getCanonicalPath/File() methods.
