how to use swallowOutput attribute

Hi,
my catalina.out is increasing in size very quickly.
I am using TOMCAT 5.0. I tried to redirect my logs in other files using swallowOutput

i have only one context path in my server.xml
Following are the changes i made in my server.xml:::::

<Host name="localhost" debug="0" appBase="webapps"
unpackWARs="true" autoDeploy="true"
xmlValidation="false" xmlNamespaceAware="false">

<Context path="" docBase="/home2/R1P4_1+0/run_base/ssgui" debug="0" reloadable="false" crossContext="true" swallowOutput="true" />

<Logger className="org.apache.catalina.logger.FileLogger"
directory="logs" prefix="localhost_deepti" suffix=".txt" timestamp="true"/>
</Host>

Is there any error in the above code????
Still all my system.out.println statements are logging in catalina.out.
