What kind of a project do you have? Does it run on a server?

Well the exact steps of deployment depend on the server you're trying to deploy it on. What is the application made of? Servlets and JSPs?

I think you are developing project using core java classes. These classes does not need any specific development. All classes runs with JVM. You can make a single JAR file by combining all the java classes. these jar file can execute with JVM.
